Ramsay Health Care guarantees to cover all of the following with a TotalCare package.
- Pre-operative assessment prior to your admission
- Your hospital accommodation including meals where applicable
- Operating theatre charges, drugs and dressings
- Your nursing care
- In-patient diagnostic services namely MRI, CT and Xray
- Histology and pathology
- Surgical equipment
- Consultants’ fees while you are in hospital
- Unlimited* post discharge outpatient care commencing the day you leave Hospital
Post discharge guarantees include:
- One follow up consultation with your consultant
- One post operative x-ray
- Removal of sutures and stitches, dressings
- Take home drugs for up to 10 days as prescribed by your consultant
It’s important to make sure everyone is happy before your treatment starts. That’s why an all-inclusive price is subject to consultation with your specialist, and a written offer from the hospital. The cost will be made clear to you before you begin any tests, consultations or treatment. So you know where you stand right from the start, we’ll send you a full quotation before you proceed with the main treatment. Please be aware, however, this may be different to a stated guide price. Costs can vary depending on the Consultant or Specialist you choose, your medical history, the anaesthetic your Consultant recommends and the implant you and your consultant agree upon. For procedures involving injections, the drug your consultant advises for you may also affect the cost.
How do I pay?
Payment in full must be completed at least ten days prior to admission and can be made by debit or credit card or online transfer. Payment by American Express will not be accepted. Should you wish to make an online transfer or pay by cheque, you’ll need to do this in prior agreement with the Hospital’s Business Office.
For full details on payments, view our terms and conditions. Some consultants may invoice you rather than the hospital. If this is the case, we’ll let you know and you can make a cheque payable to the consultant sent to the address shown on their letterhead.
