We have two consultant neurosurgeons and three consultant orthopaedic surgeons. You have a choice of consultant and this named orthopaedic surgeon will provide your care throughout, both as an outpatient and inpatient.
Your consultant will assess your spine and neck pain and request any required diagnostic investigations. They may refer you for physiotherapy treatment, discuss pain management techniques as well as giving pain relieving injections and performing spinal surgeries.

His interests include: Full access to a comprehensive and modern range of spinal techniques, treating problems from the top to the bottom of their spine.Mr Bhagawati provides integrated physiotherapy programmes that include nerve and joint injections through to traditional spinal surgery such as spinal decompression, discectomy and, spinal fusion.
Mr Andrzej Wojcik, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
His interests include: The treatment of spinal deformities and degenerative and post traumatic disorders of the spine. He introduced mini-invasive techniques in surgical treatment for spinal deformities and post-traumatic disorders of the spine. He treats pain and sciatica using modern mini-invasive techniques.
Mr Rikin Trivedi, Consultant Neurosurgeon
His interests include: Minimally invasive (keyhole) spine surgery, stroke, brain vascular malformations, brain and spine tumours and vascular/skull base disorders.
Mr Sion Lewis, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
His interests include: Surgery of the cervical and lumbar spine, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and carpal tunnel and joint replacement.
